Since I have seen the real thing (though never in such beautiful light) the photo does add so much to the scenery. The time of the day, the clouds and the fortuitous position of the sun behind the clouds and the mood of the moment that is so comprehensively captured by the picture lead to a very enjoyable visual indeed. Alternate career Megha?

Do you live in the boondocks or what? Just Kidding..
Life in Suburbia has its advantages like this.Next time please try shooting the same with some color filters.It comes out much better.(Of course you are editing reality view to your taste in this process.)

[ck] Thank you! Boston sunsets are beautiful, some of the best i’ve seen. This is just a small start to my photoblogging endeavours. Alternate career, perhaps not :)
[Paddy] Nah, don’t live in the boonies, although that would be fun! This was taken right in the middle of the metro area.. just got lucky to have a lake outside my westward window. Thank you for your pointers about color filters. I don’t use them with my camera, but I do work with them in Photoshop a lot.

[Jupe] Thanks! Next time I shall ‘outsource’ my photo-titling to your cousin. Hide and Seek is much better than my unimaginative ‘Evening Sky from my Window’. :|
