Happy Birthday, Bloggy!
Yes, exactly one year ago, this blog was born. Any snickering along the lines of ‘ha ha, she celebrates her *blog’s* birthday! What a loser!‘ shall not be entertained, thank you very much. I for one am mighty proud that unlike a lot of passing fancies of mine, this has lasted and grown in (hopefully) the right direction. This is indeed an occasion of great significance. There is much joy and celebration all over, people are drinking themselves silly at parties around the world, songs are beings composed, poems are being written and other such good stuff. Oh c’mon, a girl should be allowed her delusions of grandeur no? They don’t call me a meg(h)alomaniac for nothing.
So, to commemorate this moment, the postal department was going to release a 2-cent stamp. (Yes it is a pun, so be nice and smile, will ya?) But some great historic leader turned 200 years old, so my blog promptly got dumped on the back-burner. *sob* So I did the next best thing. Redesigned it. So here you have it — *trumpets and drumroll* — A Walk In The Clouds, version 2.0. Brand spanking new and all that humbug.
They say that design should speak for itself. Which I am sure it will, once *I* stop talking. So here’s hoping you like this as much as the old one. Hm, maybe slightly more. (If you liked the old one more, too bad. You’re stuck with this.)
Happy blog reading!
