Weird thing that you bring up those two movies coz incidentally Gumraah has a very illustrious namesake predecessor while Gunaah has an even crassier namesake successor. Reading thru ur dream I realize that whatever happens, happens for the good (till the time u happened to recollect one of those dreams i.e. :) )

I dont know why but I remember ‘gunaah’ as a passable sort of movie.. and yeah, I also dont remember one thing abt the movie other than it was not a routine ‘u killed my father, prepare to die’, movie..
and of course the song..

The song Yeh Raat Yeh Tanhaiyya from the original sound track had some weird sounds (for the lack of a more civilized word I use “weird”) that pass for the prelude which makes it a song most unsuited to play in mixed company..(I used to own the soundtrack CD which also had “Pehchaan”—Dheere dheere nazar laagne de…Madhoo wala)

I actually love the other song in Gunaah…Ek Musafir Hoon Main…wonder whom that is copied from?

[megha]: Gunaah(2002) also is the name of another movie penned by mahesh bhatt and directed by some charlie… finally there are two gunaahs and one gumrah… oh my god… i can make a movie out of it and call it “Ek Gumrah Do Gunaah”… and it will be in the league of “Do Aankhen Baarah Haath” (atleast as far as the title goes)…

and you dream in xml and html… rocking man… at this speed… one day you will start dreaming in Java and all you have to do when you wake up is compile your dream, take a printout and post it on the blog… super fandastic…

and just like the comparsion between crux and the fresh appadams… the next time i bite into one… i am sure, the first thing that would come to my mind is “crux” :)

Ahaaa! Finally there is a point in this blog..totally against what you claim. Everytime I read your posts I wonder whether
1) You are saying something OR
2) You are asking us something OR
3) You are asking us to read but not write comments OR
4) You ask not to take the blog seriously but seriously write comments.
ufff!!....total hair pulling happenning. Fortunately not this time.

Oh well, Gumraah took me back a few more decades. 1963 to be precise (Thank god for Google..:)) and brought back Mahendra Kapoor crooning “Chalo ek baar phir se ajnabi ban jaye hum dono” for Sunil Dutt who, in turn, pretends to play the piano in front of his ex-flame Mala Sinha, with her cigar-smoking husband Ashok Kumar looking on with my-charitraheen-wife type looks..:)
Now thats a priceless movie!
