Megha,

I posted some more pictures of NH taken last year. These were still from 'film'...and am still waiting to see how my D70 fares with regards to scenery.

Megha,

Glad to hear you liked them. You were the inspiration to start scanning and posting some pics. I had the blog but was lazy to scan old pics.

The older pics in the lot at the bottom (Nov)...the AP Assembly in Hyd and the 'Needle' are the ones that started it all for me....way back in 1990 or so. Imagine me running around Hyd trying to take these pics by keeping the camera supported on the motorcycle or on the walls (for a bit longer shot). I have some good pics of tankbund and also from Birla Mandir...hope to dig them and scan them sometime.

Will look forward to your comments there and keep an eye on your blog. You are very gifted in your writing skills and I thoroughly enjoyed your "megah-star" post....what with me being a hard core IR fan. Kondaveeti Donga was amazing in theatre as it was true 70mm movie with a bit of sorround sound type of thing (atleast in Devi theatre) unlike cinemascope which is basically a 35mm film with 'lense' doing the trick. I listen to the songs even today (recently the songs were released on CD by Aditya music in very good quality - they bought the rights of IR telugu songs from Echo).

[Anu] Yes, as a lot of other commenters suggested, that song seems to be the best choice :)

[Bhanu] I use Adobe Photoshop to add the copyright text. Am not sure if tools like Picasa can do it for you, since I haven't played with them much. Sorry for not being much help in the matter. I visited your blog and saw the photos. They are really beautiful! Having seen the sights of New Hampshire live many a time, I think your pictures do capture the area beautifully! Will head over there and comment in a little while. Kudos on some wonderful pictures and thanks much for sharing them!

[Aakarsh] Yes, I agree. I am definitely partial to the sepia version myself. Glad you liked! And thanks for visiting :)

[Senthil] Coming from someone who takes pictures like you do, that is a high compliment and we are most flattered. And yesh, contrary to the impression I give, flowers are not my first love. (That would be sunsets, but that's a whole another story.) I just happened to have a lot of flowers around me lately and so .. *sheepish look*. Will try to obsess over something else for a change :) Thankoo once again.

A bit late, I am, but this is an amazing photograph. Love the fact that you chose to shoot it in black and white. Draws attention to the drops of water and the creases on the petals. Amazing shot. How come you only post photos of flowers? I'm sure you have an amazing collection of other-than-flora photographs as well. Please put them up!

Nice photograph. The tone of the pic is very good. Though many opine that it would look more good in colour, i personally feel that this sepia tone in B/W adds a tinge of brilliance..ofcourse, the water droplets have already done that.
Good work.

Megha,

I wanted to find out how to put the copyright notice at the bottom of the pics as you put. Is there a specific software you use for it (like adobe) or would a standard windows software do (or Picasa)?

Thanks.
