Being status conscious

One has been having a bit of a party with one’s Gtalk status messages. Phull weekday series and wotnot. So one wanted to tell, seeing as sharing joy multiplies it and all that wholesome chocolatey goodness.

Serious early morning creativity at work here, so pliss to not mind.

  • Man ka meet. Monday meetings.
  • Tue cheez badi hai must must. Tuesdays are necessary.
  • Bhed bhaav. The bhalue of a Bhednesday.
  • Kaahe tarasaaye? Why does Thursday come?
  • Phokat ke chaabi ka talaa hua din.

*takes a bow*

*takes an arrow too but puts it back gingerly and tiptoes away*

Hmmm.. I see a new title up there and assume it will be a Meg(h)a post and all that I get is this.. All I could wish was for you to wake up early everyday so that we can have more of your early morning creativity flowing. The monday meeting one had me. I have a job where every monday i need to attend a minimum of 3 meetings, some unscheduled. :( So, I have perfected the art of sleeping with my eyes open, needless to say only in unimportant meetings.. ;)
More regular programming please.. if you don’t want to be accused of starving me.. :)

    Regards,
    Gangadhar

[Mythili] The tail of my disappearance is best not told. Unless of course you intend to make a movie out of it!

[deitaDi] Saturday and Sunday were spared for two reasons - One, so my readers have something to keep themselves busy with when they read this post. (A fact that you have apparently not picked up on.) And two, cos I like to pretend that I have a life from time to time, so I try not to hang around on Gtalk on the weekends. So there.

[anantha] Changes happened sometime last week only. Along with the dreaded upgrade, that went smoothly thanks to you!

[Squiggle] Thankoo for being a willing guinea-pig :)

[fleiger] Reasons duly provided in response to [deiTadi] :)

[Revealed] And why is this not a post?, I ask, indignantly! Brilliant puns, it has. Clever, it is. Written by me, it is. Then why, milord, why? On an unrelated note - pliss to move whistling boy journal article discussion here, since previous post is officially passé. Thankoo :)

[Gangadhar] Sigh. *I* have to sit in meetings. *I* have to come up with creativity in the middle of it. And *I* also have to make them wordy and long. Such a heavy burden to bear. Glad you liked bow and arrow though. Was muchly pleased with it myself :)

[Anurag] Oooh! Glad you picked that one. Is my favorite too!

[twinky] Meghabaala! *cackle!* She wroted wonly. Now she’s going to stun you by writing another post in less than a week. You wait and watch. Well okay, don’t wait holding breath and all. Just casually wait, roadside-romeo-loitering-at-bus-stop-making-eyes-at-the-cuties, types.

[Megha] You got the wrong apparatus though :P (Vijayashanthi uses the goDDali(axe) to kill Charan Raj in the movie)

(nitpicking, kOTa says the dialogue in the movie, not Charan Raj)

[deitaDi] Apparatus? Beaker? Test tube? Concentrated H2SO4? I am addressing you as a generic baddie, therefore Charan Raj. Please to understand symbolism and not get into micro details. Tsk tsk.

[deitaDi] This person seems to say the same things I say! How neat! Yesh, I do agree that the real fun lies in the details and the telling of a story, not so much in the story itself. But I also believe that simply embellishing a story with contextual detail doesn’t make it fun. Context, as they say, is for wimps. So hah!

[deitaDi] Hee haw! Mission accomplished. The intent was to confuse you so you wouldn’t know how to react. *pleased with herself*

[anantha] Your words are heavy with experience, eh? :)

[Lak] Freaky Friday, it be :) Saturday and Sunday have been left for you to play with! And thank you and the bestest of wishes for a happy Ugadi and a prosperous new year to you and your family! Hope you got to eat lots of pachchadi :)

[Revealed] But this is most unfair, milord! Whatever happened to brevity being the soul of wit and all that? Admittedly, our wit has no soul at most times, but we can still try, right? And see, I cannot possibly write about PF without context, can I? Have filed it away to use as an appropriate prop in a future story. So please to shuffle back.

Aha, got it… So bloggers are supposed to have something to do on weekends? That explains the dip in the readership I worry about every weekend…

    Thank you… thank you… Mystery solved…

[Revealed] Oh yes she did, with a huge dollop of sarcasm at that. But you know editors who call you madam while giving you three page assignments? :O

[fleiger] I don’t know if they are supposed to have anything to do on weekends or not. However that’s my excuse to not blog on weekends, and it works just dandy for me :) Also, I think most people who read blogs do so while they are goofing off from work. That might explain the dip in readership on weekends, perhaps?
