You woke Bloggy up at 1 am for this?? Cant’ imagine what’ll happen if the Celtics make the playoffs this year, much less win them.
Very well - we shall join in the bushy-tailed bonhomie - we hereby re-christen them the “Crimson Stockings”. Promotion.
Btw - know how you start a race for bears?
Ready.. Teddy.. Go!
Bah.
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 5:03 AM
Looks like Christmas came early for you this year ;)
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 11:07 AM
==> Enters with an adoring look.
Ooooooh , how CUTE only !!!!
==> Drroooool. Does this blog allow hard kaur comments ?
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 12:50 PM
Whistles. AND she’s got “bold” as the FIRST of her choices in the comment box.
==> fawning look. Dearie, I wanna hold your hand!
Err… as a start.
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 12:52 PM
[deitaDi] Thankoo thankoo. Marsupials on laxatives to you too. Oh and that Ruturaj video is mostest cutest only! I think I like Vaishnavi more than Ruturaj though. Long live the kombdi dance. *exits singing turu turu turu turu chalu nakko .. budu budu budu budu bolu nakko*
[Drifting] Hah. The Bloggy never sleeps. So there. Crimson Stockings sounds like a soft-porn flick. And we don’t want no Magenta Chaddis either, before you venture there. Red Sox it is. Although one admits that it tends to be a laundry nightmare. One wrong load and you end up with a basketful of pink socks. Sigh.
[Fleiger] Ooooh yesh yesh yesh. It is a goood time to be a Bostonian. No, scratch that. It is always a good time to be a Bostonian :)
[Sikh’s Kitten] Are you trying to sass me, youngling? I’ll clip your claws if you’re not careful.
[SITC] What can I say about bold. We like to tempt and tantalize. All in a day’s work. And make up your mind about animal. Fawn or kitten. Or better yet, Bee(a)tle?
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 1:06 PM
==> sings theme song, though of the other gender
“Bas yahii apraadh main har baar karta hoon,
aadmi hoon aadmi se pyaar karta hoon”
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 1:32 PM
[Lust in Trance] Dhat teri ki. He swingeth the other way. Short-lived happiness, that was.
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 1:40 PM
Main tumhaale liye aasman ke taale tod laongi !
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 1:43 PM
[Craigslisp] Who is this Craig and why is he breaking the locks of the sky? And we are curious if he knows combination locks. We know the credit-card trick and hair-pin method well, but looking for a guru in combi-lock knowledge. Erm, we shouldn’t be announcing our lock-picking skills on our blog, I suppose. Ah well.
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 1:52 PM
==> is already floored.
Care to climb on ?
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 1:55 PM
Megha:
You hee-haws reminded me more of this.
Dharm doing dinchik dinchik of Bruce Lee ….no less! And watch Zeenat’s epxressoins, as he does that (no porn there, okay) !!!
And yeah, yerra mejollu become the first team to win it twice in this century ….too much!! And on the same day the Patriots decide to ravage the yerra-thokkalu …too too much!!
//P
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 1:59 PM
He swingeth ?
Why is HE breaking ??
Sigh. Got my gender totally awry, didn’t you ?
==> Tosses her paraanda and walks off.
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 1:59 PM
Who burst onion and why it always a good time to burst onion ?
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 2:14 PM
All you jobless mad people, get back to work! Pronto!
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 3:14 PM
[Sylpha Sette] We sing, we put on clown costume and dance even, but our lock-picking is what floors them? Tchah. People today and their priorities, I tell ya.
[Phaedrus] Oooh. Thank you! Awesome, that video was. What a find! And the flying Jatt kick in the end. I wonder what movie this is. Jaani Dost? And ayyo. First my hee-haw laughter reminded [deitaDi] of Mithun and now it has Oriental undertones? Where is a handful of water. I just want to die.
And yes, major yay for red mojaas and the Pats! Some people felt that the Pats disrespected the Redskins by running up the score which I think is bunkum. It’s a game. You play to win. If you win convincingly, why is that disrespect? Pah.
[Kaurni Lines] He waits. With heavy heart. Which makes him a heavy-weight. No wonder when he swings, the bough breaks. Overfed Tarzan, he. It all makes sense now. Gender I had right all along. Just didn’t predict Bobby Darling tendency. But we are non-judgemental here. So its all good. Brilliant name, by the way.
[Puzzled In Patiala] Say what?
[anantha] Now what bug crept inside your sock that you’re nakhrofying? Uff.
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 4:00 PM
I am wearing open toed sandals. No sock or sox for me.
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 4:18 PM
[anantha] Ah. Bug crept into unmentionable region, then aa?
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 4:18 PM
Btw, cricket, football and now baseball. Sporty, aren’t you?
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 4:19 PM
[anantha] Yesh. Why the surprise? I posted the last time the Sox won also.
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 4:21 PM
[Puzzled in Patiala]
Aha! Had to call in the experts to get to the bottom of that one. Phew! Now I can breathe.
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 4:24 PM
I guess the champagne was overflowing in the boston… so were some harder drinks, if the comments here are any indication ;)
As for the lock picking skills, I guess people need those to get to the floor part.
Monday, October 29, 2007 @ 10:08 PM
==> has a ready supply of bedroom lines.
and no need for lock breaking, darwaaza khulla chhod aayi, neend ke maare only.
[aNTi-mad people] Just because lou puddles are missing witnesses doesna mean we can’t get ahead with our ceetees no ?
[Meggie Rain] : Awww, took your breath away, did we ?
(She’s got bold, lookup and close as options. Whee, total R-rated wonly)
Tuesday, October 30, 2007 @ 4:32 AM
[M.Coirala or Kojal D’gun or whatever you call yourself now:] what ceetees?
[Megha]: Just because you are posting for the second time about baseball, can I not express surprise? :P
Tuesday, October 30, 2007 @ 10:41 PM
[Fleiger] Are you suggesting that some of us are high here? Here? Perpetually sober and serious blog of ours? Surely you have us confused with someone else?
[Koi Rallu] See, if you want to put on Tom Cruise aviators and roar down beach road to background song of highway to the danger zone, then do so. But why compelling us to be Kelly McGillis? We are a most obvious Meg Rain. Leave us be.
[Lou-Puddle] Aha! Itching for a spat, I can see :) My conjecture about bugs in nether regions seems to be correct after all. Send address. I’ll send anti-itch cream. (Itch cream for aNTi is anti-itch cream. Hee hee! Gawd. It is just too easy sometimes.)
Wednesday, October 31, 2007 @ 1:21 AM
[meghaji]: Please… You got me all wrong there. I might whine, but I no fight! Never… Not with blog divas. Maybe with people who go all hating on Thalaivar or the Indian cricket team (Go India, through thick and thin!). I was actually expressing grudging appreciation that you actually follow (at least) 3 different sports.
If such a meaning could be derived from my comment, you have only my lack of sleep to blame.
Wednesday, October 31, 2007 @ 7:08 AM
Lou, thats a good observation, tho!
Megs actually follows 3 sports, err, almost 4 (if you dont want to discount gult porn as one more ..hee hee) !!!
Wednesday, October 31, 2007 @ 9:37 AM
Well, some of the comments did lead me to the conclusion that as spirits ran high in Boston, spirit bottles were getting emptier ;)
Though given the track record of comments here, that might just be a deviation of normal.
BTW, what is that onion puzzle? I haven’t had my morning coffee yet.
Wednesday, October 31, 2007 @ 11:36 AM
[Lou-Puddle] If I didn’t know you better I would have thought that you were still mocking me. But admittedly you have been sleep-deprived, bug-infested and working hard, so I’ll take your word for it. But now I am tempted to ask - why grudging appreciation? Why not just regular plain vanilla appreciation? Why the cherry on top?
[Phaedrus] Right. All this boy [Lou-Puddle] needs is you coming along and prodding him. Like they say in Telugu - Cat giving testimony for a rat. (Elukaki pilli saksham. Or is it the other way around?) Tsk tsk only. All this testimony inspiration must be coming from Lou-Puddle’s latest lou only, I tell you.
[Fleiger] Burst-onion is not worth missing coffee over, I assure you. Is a reference to something I said in response to you about it being a good time to be a Bostonian. Please see above and cringe. And yesh, the crazies taking over is indeed business as usual :)
Wednesday, October 31, 2007 @ 11:11 PM
sorry for the re-post ..forgot putting in my name in the first one!
while coughing …I think is it “Pilliki Eluka saaskham“.
But how come a ‘mere’ agreement for what the dear Lou said with an appended statement (which we have noted with a great degree of interest that you have refused to acknowledge) becomes ‘witness’ to Lou. Beats me. Completely.
On a totally different subject, they say Virginia is for lovers …love sangathi demuduke eruka, Virginia is surely for Allergens .. coughing again ….
Thursday, November 1, 2007 @ 12:36 PM
[Phaedrus] No mere, no meerkat. (Mere-u ledu, meerkatu ledu.) You see, Lou needs very little encouragement. (Our boy Lou that is, not that all encompassing emotion love, just to clarify, although it applies to that too.) You agree with him a little bit and he takes that as a sign of yencrazement, and the crazies emerge.
Now now, we aren’t refusing to acknowledge anything. But how can we claim that Gult porn is the fourth sport we watch, when in fact, we have gone on record on this blog to lament that there IS no Gult porn? Imaginary sport, it would become no? So there. Adi sangati.
Ammo, too much subtle coughing. Allegra doesn’t work, aa?
Thursday, November 1, 2007 @ 1:48 PM
Sorry, my mental faculties are currently dulled. You will have to elaborate.
And what is this about imaginary sports? Are you planning a remake of “Aabra ka dabra”? Wuth 5 Potter movies, and entire book series out (not to mention some *ahem* outings), I guess that us overdue.
Thursday, November 1, 2007 @ 8:36 PM
[Megha & Phaedrus]
Gult porn aaa.. baanchan.. tapana ekkuva taDi takkuva type.. cooDandE mElu.
Translation - the pun would be lost in translation.. bottom line - Gult porn - highly avoidable.
Thursday, November 1, 2007 @ 9:06 PM
absolutely crazy :)
Sunday, November 4, 2007 @ 2:29 PM
Burst Onion….?
Burst Onion.
Bostonian!
Burst Onion?
Bostonian?!
YAY! I cracked it. All by myselfsome. I did, I did indeed. Burst Onion? BOSTONIAN!
Some people clearly have too much free time. Self included.

Hi Megha,
I am now in Netherlands but my colleagues in Boston were all upbeat about ‘Yerra Saaxu’.
Looking forward to your pictures and your unique insights from your european trip.
By the way….there is a 5 CD(mp3) of telugu songs (Ilaiyaraaja) that was recently released by Aditya music. Please try to get them (Rs75 each) …it has some gems like Mantrigaari Viyyankudu and Kondaveeti Donga (better recording than what I heard before).
Saturday, November 10, 2007 @ 12:23 PM
I think everybody is sleeping. Start a newpost.
Monday, November 12, 2007 @ 1:20 AM

Wednesday, November 14, 2007 @ 6:42 AM
I love the sox. I love what you write. Now to tell…now which way will the quesztion sound good.
a. Come, lets roll in the hay
b. Suck and Lick, them all are toffees :D
c. Chiti chiti, Bang Bang…wow, just need to strum
d. You sex me, I sex you
Oh well, all that means, babes lets make love…wink wink ;) ! why don’t you write about pick-up lines ??
Wednesday, November 14, 2007 @ 9:26 AM
[Fleiger] The princess has explained it quite nicely :)
[deitaDi] Since you speaketh from experience, we shall take your word for it.
[ranjan] We? B-b-b-ut we are the paragon of sanity!
[Princess Stefania] Yayyyy! She got it! *wipes a lone tear from cheek* It feels so wonderful to know I am not the only jobless one in the world. Such happiness! :)
[Phaedrus] Sigh. Ghor kalyug everywhere, I tell ya!
[sam] Sure! Did another round of dhinkichiki on popular demand :)
[aqc] Watch out for the mosquito.
[Bhanu] One of these days, I will finally write and post photos about it, I promise. About the Raja CD, is there a link to somewhere one can buy it online? Or will I have to make a trip to desh for this purpose? Sigh.
[subbamma] Will, soon! :)
[Fleiger] Heh yesh! I guess marriage has some benefits, after all. Ooh! Maybe it is a disguise!
[Bharath] Thank you :)
[Disco Dancer] We are not sure what it is you are hoping to learn from this exercise and were thus tempted to immediately haul you over live coals. But a quest for education is not something to be scoffed at. So we shall try to give you some pointers. Pun unintended, but of course.
First, drop the nom de plume. Admittedly, Mithun had women draping themselves over him, singing gunnnmaaaasterrrrr even as he strutted around in leotards and leg-warmers with an innuendo laden gun in hand that fired in perfect coordination with his hip thrusts. But there is only one Mithun (thank the Lord for that!) and we are not looking for him to make a comeback on this blog.
Second, Bappi. When propositioning a woman do not do anything that puts images of Bappi in her head. He is, at best, cute. And that too, in a more ‘Ooh, I wanna tickle him to see how he topples over and falls!’ sort of way. Not very many women in this world are turned on by a cuddly marshmallow that waddles.
Third, the success of a pickup line depends on several factors. But most importantly, it has to make sense. How exactly do ideas a, b, c and d connect? If they don’t connect, why are they numbered with progressive alphabets? We don’t see a logical flow in the whole thought process. We also don’t see any rhyme. Or reason.
A PmP. (Public mein proposition.) Now this blog can die and attain nirvana.
Wednesday, November 14, 2007 @ 7:15 PM
[Me, gah] : Koi Rallu, indeed. Sticks n stones.
[L-P] : Sigh, and you share initials with SUCH a well known couple.
[Fleecer] :Woolly headed in the morning, are we : )
[Stiff Prince] : dJ Jazzy Jeff, warn’t it, who left ?
Ahhhhh. Got it, did you ? –> One sticky chocklit in Nutrine wrapper handed over. Now sit in first bench and you’ll start answering ALL of them. (But tis v easy, you just had to say it aloud rather than read. What thessay in grezy, phonetic buns ).
[Disconnected Dunce] : When they said base-ball, I had those ideas too… but you must check up fore pitching.
For one, if it is a “quesztion” still, take a hint , you ain’t getting it. Second, only Vivek Oberoi calls wimmen “babes”, and look where being a wannabe with phoren accent has got him. Finally, with those lines, you ain’t getting it if you paid for it.
(She has bold, link, lookup and close. stick to those for your lines, Dunce, else she has strike too.)
Wednesday, November 14, 2007 @ 10:16 PM
[Megha]: Indeed… Princess got it. But did you mean disguise for the wedding or datguise after wedding? Given the circums., I think both ideas make sense.
Is the next post a scholarly discourse on “pick-up lines: what lines are picked up and what lines fail”? You can probably use the response to the comment.
[Benaam Ghoda]: Not woolly headed. Caffeine deprived. (Does coffee work on wool, btw?)
Friday, November 16, 2007 @ 3:15 AM
The CDs were released by Aditya Music and hopefully they will find their way into one of the Indian shops in the US (probably in NJ !!).
Is there any specific songs that you were looking for (general question…for e.g. I was looking for Rudra Nethra for quite a while) and I can email some of them meanwhile -:)
I look forward to your pictures and stories. Meanwhile do check out the pictures on my blog….there were quite some updates from Europe since u last visited it (Keukenhof pictures).
Sunday, November 18, 2007 @ 8:32 AM
Megha and DietaDi:
Music for your ears, this one.
And you thought, Mithun is a no-gooder now :)
Wednesday, November 28, 2007 @ 1:43 PM
Hey, this is interesting. Does Mithun know about this?

Read Aditya’s comment above. If that is true, you should do something about it. Thanks for visiting our blog.
Wednesday, December 5, 2007 @ 3:52 PM
Hiya, First things first, this is my first time to your site and must admit, you’ve blown me away with your attitude and your quality of articles…now the other thing I am totally blown away is that you are a ” telugu inti adapaduchu “…I literally had to laugh to see the names of ” legends ” NTR, ANR and more importantly Sobhan ” CLint Eastwood ” babu among others.
The reason being is that I’ve never imagined that our ” adapaduchulu ” have this amount of intellect as I remember during my college days , women were indeed were tremendously boring, as for the ‘hot’ factor , I beg to differ there too, but in between I ‘ve had a good time going through your blogs…As for me I am from under, down under , New Zealand.
Monday, December 10, 2007 @ 6:36 AM
I know, I know, I haven’t left a comment in a while. But then brilliant posts about RD and Gulzar (complete with puns about chamaks in the kadhai) should be followed up with similar writing, not just other random translated references to the Sox….:-) So, here is a request - please write. A nice post. Similar to the Ijaazat one. ‘Ghar’ comes to mind…. ‘Aapki aankhon mein kya, sahil bhi milte hain kahin?….’ God, lovely lyrics, and RD and of course, Kishore - the one person that was missing in Ijaazat’s music. But that’s merely a suggestion… I would also love a Bappi post about Disco Dancer - which, I must admit, I think is BRILLIANT music. Or one on Masoom. Or on Karz. Or whatever. But write. More. Please.
Tuesday, December 11, 2007 @ 8:21 AM
